Mumbai, Oct 19: The Mumbai Police registered a case of attempt to murder against three unidentified persons following a firing incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s vehicle. Law enforcement officials stated that the actor escaped unhurt, whereas his driver and another individual sustained injuries during the shooting, which occurred in the Juhu locality on Sunday evening.
Authorities affirmed that the investigation, initially handled by the Juhu police station, has now been transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch due to the gravity of the offence. Investigators declared that they are exploring all potential angles, including a widely circulated social media post in which the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack. Police officials maintained that the authenticity of this claim remains under active verification.
An official stated that the First Information Report was filed under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act. Law enforcement agencies asserted that tracking down the three unidentified shooters is the primary objective of the ongoing probe as further inquiries continue.
