Chandigarh, Oct 19: AAP Punjab President and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora on Monday appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure strict punishment for those involved in alleged donation theft (*chanda chori*) at the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Speaking at a press conference in Chandigarh, Arora stated that over 100,000 devotees from across Punjab have written letters to the Prime Minister demanding a thorough investigation and strict accountability for anyone found responsible.

Arora highlighted reports referencing 105 incidents examined by a Special Investigation Team (SIT), emphasizing that administrative accountability should not be limited to junior staff.

He urged that the probe extend to senior management and officials overseeing temple administration. Asserting that the BJP drew significant political strength from the temple movement, Arora called on the central leadership to ensure that no individual is shielded regardless of their rank or political standing.
