Ayodhya, October 27: Preparations for Deepotsav 2026 have gathered momentum under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with district authorities finalizing logistics to ensure a grand and orderly celebration.
District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi presided over a review meeting at Tulsi Udyan Bhawan alongside Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Gaurav Grover. The session convened prominent saints, spiritual leaders, Mayor Girishpati Tripathi, and MLA Ved Prakash Gupta to integrate key community recommendations into event planning.
Spiritual leaders emphasized that while grand festivities showcase Ayodhya’s global identity, maintaining dignity, smooth crowd management, and public safety remain critical. The consultation yielded strategic suggestions regarding the movement of religious delegations, traffic diversions, extended sanitation drives across 27 key sites, and the placement of tourist maps at major access points.
District Magistrate Tripathi instructed line departments to implement all recommendations promptly, focusing on security infrastructure, continuous illumination, and seamless inter-district vehicular coordination. Attending saints expressed appreciation for the state government’s efforts in promoting Ayodhya’s heritage globally and pledged full cooperation to ensure the event’s success.
