Sangrur Police Freeze Assets of Jailed Drug Kingpin

Sangrur, March 4 – In a crackdown on the illegal drug trade, Sangrur Police have frozen the assets of Gurjeet Singh, alias Bhura Fauji, the jailed sarpanch of Raidharana village.

A police team led by Punjab Bureau of Investigation Superintendent Navreet Singh Virk, along with DSP Deepinderpal Singh and SHO Ranbir Singh, issued orders to freeze 27 acres of land, multiple bank accounts, and a tractor linked to Singh and his family.

Singh, currently in prison, was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Authorities said the action is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle his drug network.
