Chandigarh, Sept 25: The Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing announced that a major state-level event, ‘Jashan-e-Inquilab’, will take place at Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana on September 28 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Addressing a joint press conference in Chandigarh, Punjab Youth Development Board Chairman Parminder Singh Goldy, alongside AAP leaders Manjinder Singh Lalpura, Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi, and Bir Davinder Singh, officially unveiled the event poster and outlined the schedule for the upcoming gathering.
Leadership representatives maintained that the event serves as a platform to highlight state initiatives aimed at engaging young people through sports, community youth clubs, and fitness infrastructure. Party officials asserted that recent youth marathons held across Mohali, Jalandhar, and Bathinda demonstrated strong public participation, with MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura noting that over 1.25 lakh individuals have already registered for the Ludhiana gathering.
The afternoon programme is set to begin at 3:00 PM with performances by university students, followed by a cultural segment featuring singer Ranjit Bawa. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will deliver an address to the gathering. AAP leaders stated that the administration remains focused on advancing the vision of historical figures like Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar while expanding constructive opportunities for youth across the state.
