Chandigarh/ AmritsarNovember 25, 2024: Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Raghbir Singh, has called for a crucial gathering of Panj Singh Sahibs on December 2 to address key sectarian matters and political concerns involving Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leadership.
The meeting, scheduled at 1 pm at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, will include deliberations on the status of SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal, who has been declared a salaried person by the Akal Takht Sahib. Singh Sahibs are expected to pronounce a decision on the matter during this session.
Additionally, the Shiromani Akali Dal cabinet members from 2007 to 2017, the 2015 core committee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), and the current core committee of SAD have been summoned by the Sri Akal Takht Sahib Secretariat. Formal letters have been issued to all concerned, underscoring the significance of this gathering.
