Chandigarh, 22 December 2024: AP Dhillon has publicly claimed that Diljit Dosanjh blocked him on Instagram, reigniting an online feud between the two artists. Although Diljit denied the accusation, Dhillon responded with what he called “proof” of the block.
Dhillon took to Instagram to share a screen recording of his attempt to access Diljit’s profile, which showed he had been blocked. Shortly after, it seemed the situation had changed, as Dhillon found the profile accessible again. Accompanying the clip, Dhillon wrote, “I wasn’t planning on saying sh*t knowing everyone will hate on me anyway, but at least we know what’s real and what’s not.”
The discord appeared to surface after Diljit, during a concert in Indore, extended well-wishes to Dhillon and Karan Aujla for their tours in India. “Mere aur do bhaiyon ne tour shuru kiya hai Karan Aujla aur AP Dhillon ne, unke liye bhi best of luck (Two of my brothers, Karan Aujla and AP Dhillon, have started their tours; best of luck to them, too),” he said.
However, Dhillon seemed unimpressed and addressed the issue at his Chandigarh concert, stating, “Brother, first unblock me on Instagram and then talk to me. I don’t want to talk about what marketing is happening, but first unblock me. I’ve been working for three years. Have you ever seen me in any controversy?”
Responding to the allegations, Diljit shared a screenshot showing Dhillon’s profile accessible from his account, adding, “I never blocked you… I might have issues with the government, but not with artists.” While Diljit has not addressed Dhillon’s subsequent post, the claims have left fans speculating about the artists’ strained relationship.
Both artists are yet to comment further on the escalating situation.
