Chandigarh, August 24: Canada-based designated operative Arshdeep Singh Gill, alias Arsh Dalla, has threatened retaliation hours after rival gangster Goldy Brar allegedly claimed responsibility for the 2023 killing of Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

In a 15-minute video posted on Punjabi social media channels, Dalla rejected claims that he was present with Nijjar when the killing occurred outside a Surrey gurdwara. He maintained that he had not interacted with or met Nijjar for nearly a year prior to the incident, asserting that the victim had never provided him with weapons, shelter, or financial backing.

The dispute stems from a leaked audio conversation between Goldy Brar and Khalistani figure Paramjit Singh Pamma. In the recording, Brar asserted that he had Nijjar killed due to his alleged involvement in promoting drug abuse among youth and providing shelter and resources to Dalla.

Dalla forcefully denied the accusations, maintaining that Goldy Brar is operating on behalf of agencies. Addressing allegations that he had falsely implicated Brar’s parents in a criminal case, Dalla stated that the legal cases against the parents were part of a scheme devised by Brar himself, questioning why no legal action was taken against them following the May 2022 murder of singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewala.

Acknowledging his own past activities, Dalla confirmed his involvement in the November 2020 murder of Dera Sacha Sauda follower Manohar Lal in Bathinda, asserting that his network targeted Lal as revenge for past sacrilege incidents. He declared that despite repeated police interrogations of his father following various crimes, he never yielded to external pressure or turned over operatives to authorities.
