Patna, May 23: The Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) Project Clearance Committee has formally approved 20 new industrial projects and authorized the allocation of nearly 30 acres of land to accelerate regional manufacturing, state officials confirmed.
The development plan, authorized during a committee meeting chaired by Industries Department Secretary and BIADA Managing Director Kundan Kumar, is projected to draw private capital investments totaling approximately ₹350 crore. According to administrative projections, the incoming manufacturing and processing facilities will create roughly 2,300 direct job opportunities across multiple districts, providing local youth with structured employment and technical skill development.
The structural expansion covers diverse sectors, including software development, food processing, pre-engineered building (PEB) fabrication, furniture production, healthcare, and compressed biogas (CBG).
The newly cleared corporate operations are scheduled to be established across existing industrial zones, including the industrial areas of Hajipur, Patliputra, Kumarbagh, Bariyarpur, Sasaram, and the Industrial Growth Centre (IGC) in Begusarai. Prominent enterprises securing land allotments under the current cycle include Bharat GPS Bioenergy Pvt Ltd, Crispano Foods & Beverage Pvt Ltd, SP Institute of Workforce Development Pvt Ltd, Experia Prefaxo Pvt Ltd, Rayush Healthcare Pvt Ltd, and Makhayo Foods Pvt Ltd.
Administrative representatives stated that the state remains focused on ensuring balanced, inclusive industrial development through transparent and time-bound land allotment protocols. Officials noted that the department continues to build an investor-friendly ecosystem by upgrading physical infrastructure, simplifying regulatory procedures, enhancing regional connectivity, and offering robust policy support to ensure the swift implementation of all approved corporate projects.
