Bittu Accuses Trudeau Over Brampton Temple Attack

Chandigarh, November 4, 2024: Widespread condemnation has erupted following the attack on a Hindu temple by alleged Khalistani activists in Brampton, Canada with union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu strongly criticising the incident, holding Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responsible for fostering an environment that allows such attacks on Hindu and Sikh communities.

Bittu argued that Canada’s lenient approach toward pro-Khalistani supporters has contributed to the escalating tensions.

He said that these issues affect not only one community but are a result of policies under Prime Minister Trudeau, accusing him of causing division.

The Union Minister expressed concern that Canadian authorities are not taking decisive actions to protect the Hindu community.

He alleged that while people were gathering at the temple to celebrate Diwali, they faced threats instead of a secure environment.

Bittu accused the Canadian government of undermining India’s peace, particularly in Punjab, by allowing these activists to operate freely.
