Bomb Threats Emailed to Delhi College, School

New Delhi, 7 February 2025: A Delhi University college and a private school received bomb threats via email on Friday morning, prompting a large-scale police response, officials said.

Explosive disposal teams and dog squads were immediately deployed to sweep the premises.

St. Stephen’s College was the first to receive a threat at 7:42 a.m., with police launching an immediate search operation. “Our bomb and dog squads are on the ground, checking the entire premises,” an officer stated.

Earlier, at around 6:40 a.m., officials at Ahlcon International School in Mayur Vihar, Phase 1, alerted police after receiving a similar email warning of an explosive device on campus.

Security teams continue to inspect both locations as authorities investigate the source of the threats.
