BSF Troops Fire at Pakistani Drone Near Gurdaspur Border

Gurdaspur, 11 December 2024: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel opened fire on a Pakistani drone entering Indian territory near Gurdaspur late last night. The incident occurred at the Border Outpost (BOP) of BSF’s 113th Battalion, where vigilant soldiers responded swiftly to the intrusion.

According to reports, the drone was spotted around 8:30 PM by BSF troops stationed at BOP Abad. They fired three rounds and deployed a light bomb to neutralize the threat.

Following the incident, senior BSF officials arrived at the location to assess the situation.

A search operation was launched in the area by officers and jawans of the 113th Battalion to ensure no further security breaches.

Instances of drone activity along the India-Pakistan border have raised concerns over potential security threats.
