The decision was finalized during a meeting at the Shambhu border on Tuesday, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher announced at a press conference.

Tejveer Singh, another farmer leader, accentuated that the movement will complete 10 months on December 13, with a large gathering planned to commemorate the milestone.

Leaders raised concerns over internet shutdowns in Haryana and reported restrictions extending up to 1.5 kilometers into Punjab. They also noted the absence of any invitation from the government for talks.

On Tuesday, farmers initiated a cleaning drive at the Shambhu border, addressing lingering effects of tear gas shells used by police.
