New Delhi, 29 October 2024: A Delhi-to-Katra bus collided with a truck early Tuesday on the Delhi-Amritsar national highway near Ambala, seriously injuring the driver.
According to police, the bus was traveling at a high speed when the driver suddenly braked but failed to avoid hitting the truck in front.
The impact severely damaged the front cabin of the bus, leaving the driver trapped inside, Police said.
Emergency responders used a hydraulic cutter to free him from the wreckage before rushing him to the hospital, Police added.
A police investigation is underway to determine further details about the accident.
