New Delhi, 10 November 2024: A speeding car crashed into a stationary truck on the Greater Noida Expressway early this morning, leaving five dead, including three women. The collision occurred around 6 a.m. when the WagonR, heading from Noida to Greater Noida, rammed into the truck from behind, according to police.
Police identified the victims as Aman (27), Devi Singh (60), Rajkumari (50), Vimlesh (40), and Kamlesh. Aman, who was behind the wheel, died on the spot, while the others succumbed to their injuries shortly after being taken to the hospital.
Locals nearby quickly alerted authorities and assisted in transporting the victims to a medical facility. “We are investigating all aspects of this tragic accident,” said Ashok Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Greater Noida.
