Srinagar/Kishtwar, 10 November 2024: An Army personnel sustained injuries during a gunfight with terrorists in the Keshwan forest area of Kishtwar district on Sunday, officials reported.

The encounter erupted around 11 a.m. when a joint team of Army and police forces, conducting a search operation, confronted the terrorists hiding in the dense forest.

The operation, which began on Thursday evening, was initiated in response to the killing of two village defense guards in the Kuntwara and Keshwan regions. “Encounter begins at Keswan-Kistwar between terrorists and security forces.
