Chandigarh, OCT 1: Chandigarh Administration officially launched the “e-Sampada CHD” mobile application to bring all property-related services directly to citizens’ smartphones. Developed to improve accessibility and eliminate procedural delays, the digital initiative enables residents to interact with the UT Estate Office without visiting physical administrative centers.

Under the new digital system, property owners across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors can access essential property details, check outstanding dues, and process official payments online. The application provides integrated tools for building plan submissions, auto-mutation applications, and tracking service grievances in real time. Administrative representatives affirmed that the initiative marks a significant step toward transparent governance and paperless public service delivery.

In addition to property management, the mobile application maintains features for viewing official notifications and verifying estate records. Officials stated that the digital transformation aims to enhance public convenience, reduce processing turnaround times, and provide a seamless, transparent single-window interface for urban estate management across the Union Territory.
