Chandigarh, Marxh 2 — Chandigarh’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection in February reached ₹236 crore, marking a 12% increase from ₹211 crore recorded in the same month last year, according to the Union Ministry of Finance.
The upward trend followed an 8% rise in January, when revenue stood at ₹271 crore—₹19 crore higher than ₹252 crore collected in January 2024.
However, December 2024 witnessed a 20% drop, with collections falling to ₹224 crore, ₹57 crore lower than ₹281 crore in December 2023.
In contrast, November 2024 saw a 20% growth, reaching ₹253 crore—₹43 crore more than ₹210 crore collected in November 2023.
