Chandigarh, 08 October 2024: In a major development in the Vicky Midhu Khera murder case, the Additional District Sessions Judge has framed charges against six accused individuals.
Kaushal Chaudhary, Amit Dagar, Ajay aka Sunny, Sajjan aka Bholu, Anil Lath, and gangster Bhupinder alias Bhupi Rana face charges under Sections 302, 482, 120B, 34, and the Arms Act.
According to reports, the court will commence the witness testimonies on the next hearing date.
Vicky Midhu Khera was gunned down on August 7, 2021, in Mohali’s Sector-70. The following day, the Bambiha gang claimed responsibility for the murder.
During the initial police investigation, Gaurav alias Lucky Padyal, linked to the Bambiha gang, was identified as a key suspect.
However, the police have not yet apprehended Gaurav alias Lucky Padyal, who is currently detained in Armenia, and Sidhu Moosewala’s manager Shaganpreet Singh, who is believed to be abroad.
Due to their absence, the initial charge sheet did not include them, but authorities may file a supplementary charge sheet against these accused in the coming days.
