Patiala, May 19: The Sheela Alipuria Charitable Society will adopt approximately 10 financially vulnerable students this year to fund their higher education, the organization announced during an administrative meeting in Patiala on Tuesday.

The upcoming sponsorships will expand the non-profit group’s ongoing educational campaign, which has provided completely free academic funding to 25 bright and needy children over the past three years. Society President Ajay Alipuria noted that the primary objective of the foundation is to ensure that economic hardships do not prevent talented students from earning professional degrees.

Addressing the selected students, the foundation president stated that higher education combined with personal diligence remains the most effective tool for overcoming systemic challenges. He maintained that achieving academic success helps individuals evolve into productive, principled members of society.

“Our goal is to provide completely free education only to needy children,” Alipuria stated during the event.

During the selection process, foundation coordinators advised the young recipients to remain focused on their long-term career goals and avoid negative peer influences. Society representative Anuradha Alipuria also spoke at the gathering, counseling the students to limit digital distractions like the internet and smartphones during their formative university years. She asserted that dedicated hard work immediately following high school graduation is essential for building capability in an increasingly competitive global market.
