LUCKNOW, OCT 2 — Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Gandhi Ashram in Hazratganj on Friday to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, purchasing local Khadi items and promoting indigenous products.
During his visit, the Chief Minister toured the Ashram’s displays, inquired about the range of handloom items available, and bought a saffron-colored gamchha via direct payment. He encouraged visitors and local residents to support traditional artisans by integrating Khadi products into daily life. Chief Minister Adityanath also spent time conversing with the Ashram staff to learn about their working conditions and welfare.
While touring the facility, the Chief Minister interacted with children present at the venue, handing out chocolates and inquiring about their education. Prominent leaders accompanied the Chief Minister during the event, including Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Cabinet Minister Rakesh Sachan, and UP State Women’s Commission Vice-Chairperson Aparna Yadav.
