Mumbai, 7 February 2025: Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur has issued an arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sonu Sood after he repeatedly failed to appear in court despite multiple summons to testify in a criminal case.
Ludhiana-based lawyer Rajesh Khanna had filed a complaint against Mohit Shukla, accusing him of duping him of ₹10 lakh through a fraudulent investment scheme linked to money laundering. Sood was summoned as a witness in the case but did not appear for testimony.
Following his non-appearance, the court directed Oshiwara police in Andheri West, Mumbai, to arrest Sood and present him before the court. The next hearing is set for February 10.
