New Delhi: A doctor was shot dead early Thursday morning inside a nursing home in Kalindi Kunj, southeast Delhi, according to police.
The assailants, suspected to be juveniles, reportedly came in for treatment before shooting Javed Akhtar, a Unani practitioner (BUMS), around 1:45 a.m.
Police officials revealed that Akhtar was discovered in a chair, bleeding from the head.
