Kanauri Border, 11 January 2025: The United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) has written to the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), urging an urgent meeting of all three forums to address ongoing farmer issues.

The letter, released by leaders Sukhjit Singh Hardo Jhande, Inderjit Singh Kot Budda, Lakhwinder Singh Aulakh, and Abhnyu Kuhar, proposed advancing the January 15 meeting to an earlier date.

This appeal comes amidst farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal’s hunger strike at the Khanauri border, which has entered its 47th day.

The letter accentuates the significance of a joint discussion to resolve the pressing matters. Farmer groups have suggested holding the meeting at Khanauri to expedite the resolution process.

Dallewal’s deteriorating health remains a significant concern, with recent medical tests showing critical levels of uric acid and creatinine. Farmers and leaders emphasize unity and timely action to address the protest’s demands effectively.
