Chandigarh, Feb 11: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has officially released the logo for the upcoming Progressive Punjab Investment Summit, themed ‘Punjab Means Business – Policy to Practice.’ The event, set to take place in Mohali from March 13-15, aims to act as a catalyst for sustained industrial development across the region.

The Chief Minister noted that the government has conducted extensive roadshows in major Indian cities and international hubs like Japan and South Korea to invite participation. He mentioned that the summit will feature specialized sessions focusing on emerging technologies and various industrial sectors to foster a pro-industry action plan.

“Punjabis can do wonders anywhere in the world with their grit and stamina,” Mann said while addressing senior officials. He noted that the summit would provide a unique opportunity to showcase the maximum incentives and investor-friendly climate available in Punjab.

To simplify the setup process for new units, the government has streamlined the issuance of no-objection certificates (NOCs). The Chief Minister mentioned that the implementation of reforms like time-bound clearances ensures that Punjab remains competitive on a global scale.

“The Progressive Punjab Investment Summit will act as a catalyst to further give a major push to the industrial development in the state,” the Chief Minister said. He noted that the enthusiasm from both domestic and international giants indicates a strong response to the state’s recent economic initiatives.

The summit will include an exhibition and technical seminars designed to help local industry adapt to modern strategies. Mann noted that the objective is to ensure that the transition from policy to actual practice is swift and efficient for every prospective entrepreneur.
