Hisar School Director Fatally Stabbed by Two Students

HISAR, July 10: A shocking act of violence– the director of a private school in Haryana’s Hisar district was stabbed to death by two Class 12 students on Thursday morning.

The incident occurred around 11 a.m. at Kartar Memorial Public School in Bass village, located in the Narnaund subdivision. The victim, Jagbir Pannu, was attacked on campus and sustained multiple stab wounds. Despite being rushed first to a nearby hospital and then shifted to a private facility in Hisar, he succumbed to his injuries.

“He was taken completely by surprise. He didn’t get a chance to defend himself,” said a staff member who witnessed the aftermath of the assault.

According to preliminary reports, the two students attacked Pannu during school hours before fleeing the scene. Police reached the school shortly after being alerted and launched an investigation. Authorities confirmed that the students have been identified.

“We are questioning the school staff, students, and others who may have witnessed the incident. The motive is yet to be established,” a police official said.

The attack has sparked alarm among parents and local residents, many of whom gathered outside the school seeking answers. The motive behind the fatal assault remains unclear, and police are yet to make any arrests.

The killing of the school director has sent shockwaves across the education community and raised serious questions about student behavior and campus safety.
