Hisar’s Rahul Pattar Secures 379th Rank in UPSC Examination

BTech graduate from Bithmara village achieves success in second attempt

Hisar, March 5: Rahul Pattar, a resident of Hisar, has achieved the 379th rank in the Civil Services Examination 2025, the results of which were announced by the Union Public Service Commission on Friday. A native of Bithmara village in the Uklana block, Pattar successfully cleared the prestigious exam in his second attempt.

The candidate’s father, Rajesh Pattar, stated that his son had nurtured an aspiration for the civil services since his college days. After completing his BTech from Delhi Technological University, Rahul opted to pursue his dream of becoming a civil servant rather than seeking immediate employment in the technical sector.

The family affirmed that Rahul’s educational foundation was laid at Jindal Modern School in Hisar. While the family expressed immense happiness over the current achievement, Rajesh Pattar asserted that his son intended to take the examination again to further improve his national ranking.

Neighbors and residents of Uklana block declared that the success of a local youth in such a competitive national platform is a moment of great pride for the district. Officials maintained that candidates from rural backgrounds in Haryana continue to show a strong presence in the final merit lists of the UPSC.
