Panchkula, 1 March 2025 — The district town planner (DTP) team demolished four illegal colonies in Battor, Jitpur, and Tibbi Majra villages, along with an unauthorized warehouse in Garhi Kotaha, during a demolition drive in Barwala and Raipur Rani’s controlled areas.
Officials said prior notices were issued, but as the defaulters failed to remove the illegal structures, strict action was taken.
The drive was conducted in the presence of Assistant Town Planners Ashok Kumar and Dimpy, Junior Engineer Deepak Kumar, Duty Magistrate Narendra Phogat, and a heavy police force.
The DTP warned that any construction or colony development without prior approval from the Director of Town and Country Planning, Haryana, would face legal action.
Authorities urged the public to avoid purchasing property in unauthorized colonies to prevent financial losses and curb illegal constructions.
