GAYA: Secretary of the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, Shri Kundan Kumar conducted a comprehensive site inspection of ongoing development works at the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) in Gaya on Sunday. Participating in a detailed review with the Project Management Agency, the Secretary examined the execution pace, quality metrics, and construction timelines across various infrastructure projects at the site. Following the progress assessment, Shri Kundan Kumar instructed all concerned project managers and departmental officials to accelerate construction activities to ensure all scheduled infrastructure components are successfully delivered within their established timelines.
Recognizing the long-term industrial potential of the facility, the Industries Secretary instructed local administrative and industrial officers, including the SDM, CEO, GMDIC, and DGM of Gaya, to conduct a thorough survey of adjoining land parcels and evaluate the feasibility of acquiring additional land for future expansion. He directed the team to submit a detailed assessment report within two days, emphasizing that all expansion blueprints must prioritize sustainable development by incorporating green spaces, structured land-use planning, and environmental safeguards. Shri Kundan Kumar affirmed that IMC Gaya is rapidly transforming into a primary hub for modern industrial infrastructure in Bihar, necessitating proactive planning to accommodate future investment and industrial growth.
