IPL 2025:  Nicholas Pooran played an important role in Lucknow’s victory over Hyderabad on Thursday. He scored 70 runs in 26 balls with the help of six fours and six sixes. In this innings, Pooran made five records in his name. Let’s know…

1. Second fastest fifty for Lucknow in IPL

Pooran scored the second fastest fifty in IPL for Lucknow. He completed his half-century in 18 balls. Earlier in 2023, he completed fifty runs in 15 balls against RCB.

2. Fourth player to hit more than 600 sixes

Nicholas Pooran has become the fourth player to hit more than 600 sixes in T20 cricket. During this, he entered the club of Chris Gayle (1056), Kieron Pollard (908) and Andre Russell (733).

3. Puran completes 1000 runs for Lucknow

Puran completed 1000 runs for Lucknow in IPL. He became the second player to do so after KL Rahul.

4. Puran completed 50 runs in less than 20 balls for the fourth time

Puran has scored 50 runs in less than 20 balls four times in IPL. During this, he surpassed Travis Head, Jack Fraser McGurk, who have done this feat three times in IPL.

5. Hit the most sixes in IPL after 75 innings

Puran is at number three in terms of hitting the most sixes after playing 75 innings in IPL. During this, Chris Gayle hit 221 sixes, Andre Russell hit 159 sixes. Puran currently has 140 sixes.

IPL 2025: Four-Wicket Wonder

Shardul maintained his incredible recovery with capturing four wickets for 34 runs after LSG won the toss and chose to bowl, allowing SRH to score just 190 runs for nine wickets. Mitchell Marsh (seven fours, two sixes) and Pooran (six fours, six sixes) both scored half-centuries to give the Lucknow team an aggressive start. Ultimately, the team won easily with 193 runs for five wickets in 16.1 overs because to the undefeated performances of David Miller (13 not out in seven balls) and Abdul Samad (22 not out in eight balls).
