Gurugram, March 9 — A 34-year-old Japanese woman was found dead in Gurugram, with police suspecting she fell from the 14th-floor balcony of her apartment.
Madoko Thamano had been living in the city with her husband and two children since September last year, police said. The incident came to light on Friday morning when authorities received a call about a woman’s blood-soaked body lying on the ground.
“The embassy has been sounded,” said Inspector Sandeep Kumar, SHO of Sector 53 police station.
After an autopsy, the body was handed over to the family. Police said an investigation is ongoing.
