New Delhi, 11 February 2025: AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal’s meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, ministers, and MLAs at Delhi’s Kapurthala House concluded amid speculation about internal discontent within the party’s Punjab unit.

Party leaders noted that discussions focused on reviewing AAP’s performance in the recent Delhi elections and strategizing for the 2027 Punjab Assembly polls.

Senior leaders, including Punjab MPs Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak, were also present.

After the meeting, Mann stated that Punjab’s AAP government remained committed to public welfare, adding that party workers were not driven by personal gain.

He noted that the party accepted the people’s verdict in Delhi and would focus on governance in Punjab over the next two years to showcase it as a model state.

Amritsar North MLA and former IPS officer Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh did not attend the meeting.

He has previously raised concerns over the functioning of the Punjab government.

Kejriwal left Kapurthala House following the discussions, which were held in the wake of AAP’s defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections.
