SHIMLA, 16 February 2025—Light snowfall is expected in isolated areas of Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur, as well as in the higher reaches of Kangra, Kullu, Chamba, and Shimla districts until Sunday evening, according to the weather department.
Shimla and surrounding areas may also see light precipitation later in the evening, with overcast skies prevailing since morning.
Meanwhile, light rain is forecast for Mandi, Solan, Sirmaur, and Bilaspur districts. While the weather is expected to remain dry on Monday, snow and rain are likely across most parts of the state in the following two days. The forecast also includes thunderstorms and lightning at isolated locations on February 19-20.
