New Delhi, April 7: Cooking gas prices have gone up by ₹50 per cylinder, Union Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced on Monday. The hike applies to both general category consumers and beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme.
With this revision, the price of a 14.2-kg LPG cylinder will rise from ₹803 to ₹853 for general users. For Ujjwala scheme recipients, the cost will increase from ₹503 to ₹553.
The minister confirmed the hike during a press interaction, noting that the change takes effect from April 8.
