Ludhiana, 30 October 2024: Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Jitinder Jorwal has directed that all pending civil works at Halwara International Airport be completed within the next 10 days.
In a meeting with officials from the Indian Air Force, Public Works Department (PWD), Public Health, Airports Authority of India (AAI), and NHAI, Jorwal noted the urgency of finishing outstanding tasks.
The DC noted that many key projects, including internal roads, public health facilities, campus lighting, terminal buildings, sub-stations, a sewage treatment plant (STP), landscaping, restroom blocks, and parking, have already been completed.
He urged department heads to finalize the remaining work promptly and announced that officials from each department would conduct an on-site review of progress next week.
