Ludhiana: Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal announced the release of final dues exceeding ₹6 crore for over 65 employees who retired in 2023-24.
On the development, Dachalwal raised the importance of prioritizing issues related to both current and retired employees and informed that the civic body had also disbursed around ₹8 crore for employees’ provident fund (EPF) last week.
To ensure timely payments in the future, Dachalwal directed officials to expedite the release of final dues for retired employees, aiming to prevent any difficulties post-retirement.
He also spoke about the ongoing efforts to improve the financial condition of the civic body and urged residents to pay their dues timely, as these funds contribute to the city’s development and welfare.
