THANE, 27 February 2025– A party in Patlipada took a violent turn when a man allegedly bit off a part of his friend’s ear and swallowed it, police said Thursday.
The incident occurred Wednesday in an upscale housing society, where Shravan Lekha and Vikas Menon got into an argument while drinking with friends. “During the altercation, Menon, 32, bit off a portion of Lekha’s ear and swallowed it,” an officer said, citing the complaint.
Lekha was rushed to a hospital, while police booked Menon under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) section 117(2) for voluntarily causing grievous hurt.
