Baghapurana, December 29, 2024: A fatal accident occurred near the Baghapurana bus stand in Punjab when a cement tipper collided with two motorcycle riders. The incident resulted in one death and left the other rider injured.
According to eyewitnesses, the cement tipper was traveling from Kotpura Road towards Moga Road when one of the motorcyclists fell beneath the vehicle’s rear tires, leading to the fatality. The second rider sustained injuries.
The police arrived at the scene, took the tipper and its driver into custody, and initiated further proceedings. Meanwhile, the victim’s family staged a protest at the main intersection, causing significant disruptions for commuters.
