New Delhi, 8 February 2025: Following the Aam Aadmi Party’s defeat and the BJP’s win in the Delhi Assembly elections, top officials have been instructed to immediately reach the Delhi Secretariat and ensure the security of government documents and data.
An official order issued in this regard states that no files, documents, computers, or hardware should be removed from the Secretariat without approval from the General Administration Department (GAD).
The directive further instructs department heads and branch in-charges to safeguard records, both physical and electronic, under their jurisdiction.
It also applies to Secretariat offices and camp offices of the Council of Ministers, with in-charges ordered to comply. The order was issued with the approval of the competent authority.
