Chandigarh, Oct 10: Panchkula recorded the lowest maximum temperature across the Tricity on Saturday, establishing itself among the cooler locations within the broader Punjab and Haryana region. Concurrently, Mohali registered the highest minimum night temperature in Punjab, second regionally only to Rohtak. The variations occurred despite a weather department yellow alert issued for potential thunderstorms and strong winds, which passed without significant disturbance or reported operational impact across the contiguous urban areas.

Overcast conditions and light breezes provided comfortable daytime temperatures across the Tricity, resulting in minor drops in both maximum and minimum readings. Day temperatures in Chandigarh fell slightly below seasonal averages, while minimum night readings in Chandigarh and Mohali continued to stay above normal thresholds. Panchkula recorded a maximum temperature of 29.6°C alongside a night low of 21.8°C. Meteorological authorities anticipate stable atmospheric conditions as cloud cover gradually disperses across the neighboring districts.
