Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann launched two digital platforms, ‘HUNAR Punjab’ and ‘Fast-Track Punjab,’ in Chandigarh to accelerate industrial investment and youth employment across the state. The Chief Minister announced that the Fast-Track Punjab portal guarantees all regulatory approvals through a single-window interface within 45 days while providing a transparent tracking mechanism for financial incentives. Concurrently, the HUNAR Punjab portal connects local industrial units directly with skilled youth and educational institutions to facilitate local hiring, internships, and curriculum collaboration.

Mann reported that Punjab has secured ₹1.89 lakh crore in total investment commitments since 2022, creating 6.31 lakh new job opportunities. The administration emphasized that replacing previous paper-heavy memorandum procedures with digitized, time-bound approvals builds investor confidence and helps retain local talent within the state.
