Chandigarh, December 31, 2024: The Chief Election Officer of Punjab has announced the launch of “Punjab Election Quiz-2025,” a state-level quiz competition to be held in celebration of National Voters Day on January 25, 2025.
According to the report, the initiative aims to raise awareness among the youth about the election process, voter registration, and election-related activities, encouraging both present and future voter participation.
Punjab Chief Electoral Officer Sibin C emphasized the quiz as a key step to spread election awareness, promote responsible voting, and engage various communities, including media and educational institutions. He highlighted the importance of fostering a vibrant culture of voting awareness in Punjab.
The competition will unfold in two phases. The first phase will feature an online quiz competition to select district-level winners. The second phase will involve an offline final competition in Ludhiana on January 24, 2025, where 23 district-level winners will compete for top honors ahead of National Voters Day celebrations on January 25.
Attractive prizes, including laptops, tablets, and smartwatches for state-level winners, and smartphones for district-level winners, will be awarded to boost participation and recognize the contestants’ enthusiasm and knowledge. Registration for the quiz opened on December 28, 2024, and will remain open until January 17, 2025. Interested participants can register at https://punjab.indiastatquiz.com/.
The quiz competition, organized in collaboration with Datanet India Private Limited, provides an excellent platform to strengthen democratic values and encourage citizen participation, especially among students.
