CM says Guru Sahib’s teachings remain relevant today

Chandigarh, Jan 25: Punjab Chief Minister on Sunday said that the state government has sent a tableau dedicated to the life philosophy and martyrdom of ‘Hind Di Chadar’ Sahib Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji for the Republic Day parade, calling it one of the highlights of the January 26 celebrations this year.

The Chief Minister said the tableau has been prepared as part of the ongoing state-level commemorations marking the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, which are being observed across Punjab with devotion and reverence.

According to the CM, the tableau reflects the teachings, sacrifice, and unparalleled martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, whose philosophy continues to inspire values of human rights, equality, religious freedom, and social justice.

He said the government is making continuous efforts to spread Guru Sahib’s teachings among all sections of society, especially the youth, to make them aware of the ideals of social and religious freedom.

The Chief Minister added that various programmes are being organised across the state to ensure that the legacy of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji reaches the masses.
