New Delhi, 22 December 2024: Delhi residents can now register for the Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana, as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal announced that the registration process will commence from tomorrow.

Kejriwal explained that the Mahila Samman Yojana will provide Rs 2,100 directly into the bank accounts of women for their welfare. Additionally, the Sanjeevani Yojana aims to offer free healthcare for the elderly above the age of 60, addressing concerns over inadequate healthcare for retirees.

To facilitate the registration process, AAP teams will visit homes to collect registrations for both schemes. Residents must possess a valid Delhi voter ID card to register, with an option to verify voter status through the official website. Kejriwal also accused the opposition of large-scale voter cancellations, urging people to verify their voting status.
