Salman Khan Receives Fresh Death Threat

by The_unmuteenglish

Mumbai, April 14: The Mumbai traffic police received a WhatsApp message on Sunday threatening to blow up actor Salman Khan’s car and assault him at his residence, prompting the Worli police to register a case.

Police officials said the message was received on the department’s helpline and reported immediately by a control room officer. An FIR has been lodged against an unknown person under Sections 351(2) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which pertain to criminal intimidation.

A probe is underway.

The 59-year-old actor has been the target of multiple threats, including from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In April last year, suspected members of the gang opened fire outside Khan’s Bandra residence. Navi Mumbai police later claimed to have foiled a plot to attack Khan during his travel to his farmhouse in Panvel.
