CHANDIGARH — Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal addressed a press conference on Thursday, raising strong objections to recent actions by central investigative agencies across the state.
Dhaliwal affirmed that the ongoing Enforcement Directorate operations represent an unwarranted attempt to pressure the state administration and disrupt governance. He maintained that similar tactics employed in other opposition-ruled states have consistently failed to weaken democratic resolve, asserting that the people of Punjab have a long-standing history of standing firm against central overreach. The senior leader declared that the state government under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann remains committed to executing public welfare initiatives without yielding to external pressures.
Addressing the political landscape, Dhaliwal maintained that the ruling party will continue its focus on developmental politics and public service, expressing complete confidence that citizens will deliver a clear democratic mandate in upcoming electoral contests.
