SRH vs LSG: Hyderabad Wins! Lucknow Knocked Out of IPL Playoffs

May 20: SRH vs LSG Highlights: Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets and knocked them out of the playoff race. The team captained by Rishabh Pant thus became the fifth to be eliminated from the playoffs. Hyderabad won the match after replying with 206 runs in 18.2 overs at a cost of four wickets. Abhishek Sharma scored the highest 59 runs for them. Hyderabad’s innings

Kishan was dismissed after scoring 35 runs in 28 balls while Klaasen returned to the pavilion after playing an innings of 47 runs. At the same time, Kamindu Mendis retired hurt after scoring 32 runs. He was seen struggling with hamstring. Aniket Verma and Nitish Kumar Reddy remained unbeaten after scoring five runs each.

Lucknow’s innings

Earlier, Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram had given Lucknow a great start by batting aggressively. There was a partnership of 115 runs for the first wicket between the two which was broken by Harsh Dubey. He made Marsh his victim who returned to the pavilion after scoring 65 runs in 39 balls. At the same time, Harshal Patel bowled Markram. He was dismissed after scoring 61 runs in 38 balls.

Both scored the fifth half-century of their career. For Lucknow, Nicholas Pooran scored 45 runs while captain Rishabh Pant’s bat remained silent once again. He scored only seven runs. Ayush Badoni, three, Abdul Samad three, Shardul Thakur were dismissed after scoring four runs. At the same time, Akash Deep remained unbeaten on six and Ravi Bishnoi remained unbeaten without opening the account. For Hyderabad, Ishan Malinga took two wickets and Harsh Dubey, Harshal Patel and Nitish Kumar Reddy took one wicket each.
