Anandpur Sahib, March 11, 2025 – The Sri Anandpur Sahib Polo Team will take on the Chandigarh Polo Team in a historic match on March 14, 2025, marking the first time local teams will compete in Subha, Sri Anandpur Sahib.
Organized by the Anandpur Sahib Heritage Foundation, which has previously hosted international teams, the event aims to showcase local talent while fostering community engagement with the sport.
“This match is a unique opportunity for the local community to witness the skill and camaraderie of polo players while celebrating our culture and heritage,” said Sodhi Vikram Singh, who has played a key role in supporting regional sports initiatives.
Set against the backdrop of Hola Mohalla, a festival deeply rooted in Anandpur Sahib’s history, the match is expected to draw polo enthusiasts, families, and tourists.
Organizers noted that the event would not only promote the sport but also provide a platform for local players to shine.
