New Delhi, Oct 9:Tata Consultancy Services maintained that the recent suspension of its access to a key foreign worker green card pathway will not derail its operational goals or client commitments in the United States.
Following the US Labor Department decision to exclude eight major technology firms from the Permanent Labor Certification program, India’s leading software exporter stated that its low reliance on the process minimizes any fallout. Company officials affirmed that PERM filings remained in single digits over the past two years, ensuring that broader delivery capabilities stay fully intact.
The firm declared its ongoing alignment with American labor guidelines while doubling down on a localized talent model. With operations established across 31 locations and delivery hubs nationwide, the organization sustained its reliance on domestic campus recruitment and local hiring initiatives. Reinforcing this direction, leadership confirmed plans to add 15,000 professionals to its US workforce over the next five years. Addressing the overall landscape, industry organization Nasscom asserted that immigration mechanisms and skilled worker mobility represent separate considerations that ought not to be conflated as regulatory scrutiny tightens across the sector.
