May 27,RCB vs LSG:  Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) veteran batsman Virat Kohli can achieve a big feat during the match against Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday. RCB vs LSG Last chance to make it to the top two

RCB faces Lucknow in the last group match of IPL 2025. RCB’s team is currently at the third position in the points table with 17 points. If RCB wins this match, it will have 19 points from 14 matches and will go ahead of Gujarat Titans. Gujarat has 18 points from nine wins in 14 matches and remains in second place. RCB’s defeat will keep Gujarat in second place, while if RCB wins, it will be able to make it to the top two for the first time since 2016.

RCB’s performance has been very good this season and the team is looking for its first title. If RCB’s team registers a big win against Lucknow, then it can overtake Punjab and stay on top on the basis of net run rate. However, it just needs a win to reach the top two. Lucknow has nothing to lose in this match, but it can definitely become a hurdle in RCB’s path.

Virat Kohli close to completing 9000 runs for RCB

During this game, Kohli can help RCB reach 9000 runs. This feat is just 24 runs away for Kohli. Since joining the team, Kohli has amassed 8976 runs for RCB over 270 innings, including Champions League T20 and the IPL. Kohli and Warner are currently jointly at the top. Both these batsmen have the record of scoring 62 half-centuries in IPL. Currently, Rohit Sharma is at third place below Kohli who has scored 46 half-centuries in IPL. Kohli has scored seven half-centuries so far this season and this is Kohli’s third successful season in terms of playing the most half-centuries in a season.
